About Me
I’m Miera
I'm Miera, a singer-songwriter from South Australia, Australia, blending raw emotion with pop punk melodies and alt-rock grit. My sound lives somewhere between heartache and rebellion, pulling from the vulnerability of early 2000s emo, the fire of pop punk, and the poetic edge of artists like Avril Lavigne, Killing Heidi, and Honey Revenge. I write from lived experience, trauma, healing, identity, and every song is a release, a reckoning, a reminder that you're not alone in the chaos. Welcome to the noise inside my soul.

Pop Punk artist Miera Unveils Haunting Debut Single “Parentified” - A Raw Anthem for the Inner Child
Rising alternative pop punk artist Miera has released her powerful debut single, “Parentified,” an unflinching exploration of childhood emotional neglect and the silent burdens carried by those who were forced to grow up too soon. Blending gritty vulnerability with poetic lyricism, the track marks a defining moment in Miera’s journey as both a musician and a trauma-informed storyteller.
Drawing on her own lived experiences, “Parentified” captures the quiet ache of being the emotional caretaker in a broken family system. With stark vocals layered over fast-paced guitars and punk-style percussion, Miera invites listeners into the hidden world of children who become the adults in the room, before they are ever ready.
“I wrote ‘Parentified’ for the kids who never got to be kids, For anyone who had to hold space for everyone else while no one held space for them. It’s for the ones still healing, still learning how to put themselves first without guilt.”
The single is the first taste of Miera’s upcoming debut album, Orphaned Parts, due for release this October. The album is a deeply personal body of work that weaves together themes of childhood trauma, identity, emotional abandonment, and inner reclamation.
“Parentified” is now available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
For fans of artists like Avril Lavigne, Taylor Acorn, and Honey Revenge, Miera’s music is both an emotional reckoning and a balm, turning pain into poetry and survival into sound.
