Rising alternative pop punk artist Miera has released her powerful debut single, “Parentified,” an unflinching exploration of childhood emotional neglect and the silent burdens carried by those who were forced to grow up too soon. “I wrote ‘Parentified’ for the kids who never got to be kids, For anyone who had to hold space for everyone else while no one held space for them. It’s for the ones still healing, still learning how to put themselves first without guilt.”
